Welcome to Mr. Taxi.lk. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.

1. General

These terms and conditions govern your use of the taxi booking services provided by Mr. Taxi.lk (Pvt) Ltd. All bookings made with us are subject to these terms.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments in cash (United States Dollars – USD, Euros – EUR, and Sri Lankan Rupees – LKR) and online payments.

2.2. Online Payments

For your convenience, we offer a secure online payment option through OnePay. After confirming your booking, we will send you a secure payment link via email or WhatsApp. Please note that your booking will be confirmed only after the payment is successfully processed.

2.3. Cash Payments

Cash payments are accepted directly by the driver upon completion of the ride. Please ensure you have the exact fare or an amount close to the fare to avoid any inconvenience.

2.4. Currency

All online payments will be processed in the currency specified at the time of booking. For cash payments, we accept USD, EUR, and LKR. The exchange rate for USD and EUR will be based on the prevailing market rate on the day of the ride.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. Cancellation

You may cancel a booking without charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. To cancel, you must contact us and verbally confirm the cancellation if you are on the phone or include your booking reference number in your email or message.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time. If we cancel your booking with 24 hours’ or less notice before the pickup time, you will receive a full refund of all amounts you have paid for the booking.

3.2. Refund Policy

You are eligible for a refund if the vehicle and driver are not at the pickup location at the agreed-upon time or if the journey is not completed as specified in your booking.

To be eligible for a refund, you must have fulfilled your obligations as outlined in these terms and conditions.

To claim a refund, you must send an email to mrtaxi.lk@gmail.com or a WhatsApp message to +94768879009 within 14 days of the pickup time. Your request must include your booking reference number and a detailed explanation of the circumstances leading to the refund claim.

We are not obligated to process any refund claims submitted more than 14 days after the scheduled pickup time.

3.3. Refund Processing

If your refund claim is accepted, the refund will be processed and returned to you within 7 working days.
